Contaminated Tap Water Triggers Fatal Diarrhoea Outbreak in Indore

Yugcharan News — A diarrhoea outbreak linked to contaminated tap water has claimed multiple lives in Indore’s Bhagirathpura area, with over 200 residents hospitalised and thousands reporting illness. Officials said a damaged pipeline allowed sewage to mix with the drinking water supply, leading to widespread vomiting and diarrhoea. The affected neighbourhood has been placed under emergency health surveillance, water is being supplied through tankers, and an official inquiry has been launched after municipal officials faced disciplinary action.
