Under Operation Sagar Bandhu, India has deployed INS Vikrant, INS Udaygiri, and INS Sukanya, along with two military cargo aircraft carrying 21 tonnes of relief supplies. These include food, medical kits, water, and emergency equipment for affected families.

Two NDRF teams equipped with rescue boats, medical tools, and advanced gear have reached Colombo. They are assisting Sri Lankan authorities in evacuations, flood relief, and providing immediate medical assistance in hardest-hit regions.

The Indian High Commission in Colombo is helping stranded Indian passengers with food, water, and essential aid as flights remain disrupted. India has pledged continued support to Sri Lanka as relief operations expand across the island.
